Just like in any other love relationship, the more you spend time with someone who ministers to your needs, you fall in love over time. Jesus is no different in that regard. As you talk to Him daily; yes, I said talk to Him, you will want to talk to Him more. Though you do not see Him physically, He is there; just like your mind and thoughts are there, and you do not see them.
When you have someone near to your heart, you want to share things with them. You want to tell them about your day. You bounce things off of them, and ask them questions with an open heart to receive.
Whether you believe it or not, you can do the same thing with Jesus. He wants to know you and to be your confidant. He wants you to trust Him, and entrust your heart and secrets to Him. He doesn't want you to hurt and wants you to pour your heart out to him. See video below that will go more in depth on pouring your heart out to Jesus.
The funny thing is, the you may shed tears sometimes in pouring your heart and soul out to Him, you usually feel so good when it's over. There's something about getting it all out!
Journals are great for this too. You can write letters to Him, and feel free to tear them up and trash them when you are done. That way you can bare your heart and soul knowing that no one will ever read the details!
This is a great place to start to get you on the right path to fall in love with Jesus. He will become your everything and you won't want to do life without Him anymore! So much peace!!
